How to Do It.

Sit with a straight spine, palms touching at the chest, arms hugging the ribs.

1. Focus on the tip of your nose. Mouth is open.

2. Inhale in 4 equal strokes, mentally concentrating on each syllable of the mantra:

Wa-He Gu-Ru, and on the breath as it crosses the tongue tip.

Exhale in 4 equal strokes concentrating on each syllable of the mantra: Wa-He Gu-Ru, and on the breath as it crosses the tongue tip.

3. Continue for 5 minutes Then rest for a minute.

Repeat 2 and 3 twice.

 

Comments:

Anyone who can practice this kriya an hour a day is greatly strengthened against diseases of the blood. Doing the breath describes in this kriya 108 times purifies and oxygenates the blood. Doing it as described above for 18 minutes a day for 40 days will rejuvenate an old body.
